Rock on Kendal – Charity music fundraiser
Bank Holiday Monday 27 August 2018
The iconic Status Quo led by Francis Rossi OBE, plus full Support will rock Kendal Rugby Club on late bank holiday Monday 27 August 2018 in an open air concert!
2018 sees something of a change of pace for the band who are taking a little time out and generally only performing at one-off gigs and festivals. Of course, STATUS QUO’s music is still much in demand across the world and even these limited live dates will see them take to stages in at least fourteen countries by the end of the year. The concert in Kendal presents one of the few opportunities to see the band LIVE in 2018.
A full supporting line-up, which includes Lancaster’s Massive Wagons(who wrote a tribute track to the late Rick Parfitt last year) , Huddersfield’s Storm and the Lake District’s own Evie Plumb will provide guests with an afternoon of high quality music!
The event is being hosted by Kendal RUFC at its Mintbridge ground and is sponsored by Macbeth Scott & Co – Insurance Brokers and Independent Financial advisers, supporting Kendal RUFC, Cancer Care and Youth Mental Health.
